Image Comics Grifter

This piece was a commission I took on recently. I wanted to make sure to give Grifter the classic look he had in the WildCATS comics back in the day, so I kept the look simple. The head is a Slayer Designs custom cast that I had floating around in my fodder box for a while now, and I was glad finally be able to make good use of of it!

GI Joe Zartan

Unlike my previous version of Zartan, I wanted to make an un-armored version yet still incorporate elements of previous designs. One of the last things that worked out great on this project was the disguise head, which fits perfectly in the 25th styled pack! As always comments and critiques welcome.

GI Joe Sgt Bazooka

Yep, made a custom of good old Bazooka (an alive and well version at that, lol). I added various bits and some sculpt to make him a shoulder pauldron, and gave him RoC HD legs. The rest of the figure is 25th Bazooka. Lastly, some painting and multiple washes to finish him up!

GI Joe Cobra Viper

I opened a couple of figures the other day and they happened to be The PoC Rock Viper and PoC Cobra Viper. Right away I was not impressed with Rock Viper at all, and then wondered what the arms would look like attached to the Viper. This is the end result, and I think this look is much improved over the basic Viper figure.

Star Wars Yuuzhan Vong

This is my re-paint of the Vong Warrior from the comic pack. Originally, the figure was painted all in coppers and silvers which puzzles me as every picture I have ever seen of them has muted and dull looking colors. I tried so, so, many pictures to get the camera to try and pick up on the deep red "eyes" of the staff and on various parts of his bio-armor but I had no luck. Anyways, I am very satisfied with the paint scheme and I think he looks even more menacing now!
