Marvel Universe Deadpool

I have seen many customs of this guy around...So I felt like in order to be a true customizer, I needed to do one!! I modded this version to utilize the Joe styled legs for the best pose ability, and gave him a full paint job...

GI Joe Zartan

While I am not a fan of the Dreadnoks, I am a big fan of Zartan...I see him as the lone operator type like in some stories. Anyways, here is my latest. As always, comments are welcome and thanks for taking a look!

Clone Wars Shadow Clone Trooper

I re-painted this trooper for my son, and he has named him "Dark Eye." My boy has come up with a full back story for him...Dark Eye is part of the ARC Troopers, and is good at being sneaky. He is a good trooper but doesn't listen to orders very well. Later on after the troopers betray the Jedi, he sneaks off instead and goes out to become a Bounty Hunter in Mandalorian Armor.

Clone Wars Asajj Ventress

Asajj Ventress...I really enjoy the style of the animated Clone Wars series, and I repainted Ventress to bring out more of the mold details and to darken her look up some and give her more contrasting colors. I also added a black skirt to her wardrobe. To me, Ventress reminds me of how Transformer's Starscream used to be in the old toon, sneaky, whiny, and a coward. But that is what I like about her character too and this was a fun little repaint.

Star Wars Darth Bane

Darth Bane is without a doubt my absolute favorite Sith Lord. I clipped the collar from his plastic cape and used a Vader cape instead and reattached the collar. I also swapped out the skirt for another soft goods on from my fodder boxes. I painted the removable armor of the figure, and did the rest of the figure in all black. There is some confusion or something about Bane, as some stories have him using a curved hilt red saber, and others where he has a traditional saber with purple blade, so I gave him both.

Custom Rob Zombie By Stronox and Tankster!!

This is a project between me and my good friend and fellow toy maker Tankster! I handled the figure portion while Tankster handled making the custom claw weapons. The figure was made from various GI Joe components, with a Prince of Persia guy head and sculpted beard and dreads. One of the best and most innovative of the toy customizers out there, Tankster has made this figure stand out a ton more and has completed the project with the addition of the claw weapons. This project was the prize made by us for fellow S12 member Proteus for top placement in a recent contest.

GI Joe Destro (my second version)

Another version of Cobra's arms supplier Destro, this verison is simply a repaint of the RoC version. I feel this color scheme better suits the character, and I re-tooled the neck to accomodate the classic 25th version head.

Star Wars Kyle Katarn

Kyle Katarn has always been one of my favorite characters in the Star Wars expanded universe. However, he has never really had a decent looking figure. Hasbro's newest comic pack version was okay, but I really didn't like the way he stood with the legs he had so I swapped out his lower half with another set I had in my fodder bin. I then gave him a total re paint to give him a more gritty look. I really like how he came out and he is one of my favorite customs.

Star Wars Galen Marek

With the release of The Force Unleashed 2 already out, I got inspired to re-make Vader's secret apprentice in his original digs from the first game...I used the 3 pack apprentice set here for the base figure, then a TRU boxed set Marek head, belt, and saber since they all better reflect Galen's likeness. Lastly, I switched out his feet with some GI Joe 25th Storm Shadow feet so that he could have the wrapping extended over his boots. Some paint apps later, and now I have an accurate looking Galen Marek code named "Starkiller" figure!

Star Wars Quinlan Vos

Quinlan Vos kinda reminds me of the Star Wars version of GI Joe's Spirit...Anyways, I was disappointed when I aquired this fig that he lacked any knee or ankle articulation so I fixed that by switching out his lower half with that of a Galen Marek set I had lying around. I dig this look for Master Vos as I think that the wrapped lower legs match well with his wrapped forearms. After matching up some colors my version of Quinlan Vos is ready for my display!

GI Joe Cobra Commander

Cobra Commander has probably had over a hundred versions of him made. The resolute version is by far my favorite incarnation of him, and this is my re-paint of the leader of Cobra.

GI Joe Firefly

Here is my latest version of good ol Firefly, one of my favorite characters in the Joe universe. I used a wide selection of parts and bits to make this one, as the goal was to capture the classic feel of the character with an updated look.

Marvel Universe Red Hulk

Here is my re-paint of MU Red Hulk. At first I didn't care much for the idea of another Hulk running around, but after a while he grew on me so I had to do him to go along with my Hulk custom I did a while back.

GI Joe Spirit Iron-Knife

I wasn't too impressed with the colors on Spirit, so I decided to give him the "treatment." I really like the impact armor look for Joes, as it both keeps them uniform looking while gving them a slight futuristic feel since they are the elite of military special forces. I am very satisfied with how he turned out, and now can add the Joe team's tracker to my collection.

Marvel Universe Incredible Hulk

This is my second attmept at re-doing the Marvel Universe Hulk. Another figure customizer Mike D made an awesome Hulk figure using the movie head and after seeing his masterpiece I knew I had to have one of my own. I took my previous Hulk re-paint, and built up the neck area with greenstuff putty, and added a ball joint for the new head. I am very pleased with how this turned out, and thanks Mike D for the inspiration!!!
